Understanding Your Direct Debit Payments with PetsApp

This document aims to provide a clear understanding of the direct debit payment process for both customers who have independently signed up through PetsApp and those whose accounts have been integrated into our system from another service provider.


Why is PetsApp charging me money?

PetsApp collaborates with veterinary clinics to facilitate monthly payments for their Wellness Plans, also known as Health Plans. These plans are specifically designed to offer cost-effective benefits for both you and your pet. The range of benefits provided varies between different veterinary practices, so we encourage you to contact your vet directly to understand the specific benefits included in your plan.


For Customers with an Existing Monthly Direct Debit

If your veterinary clinic previously managed your monthly direct debits through a different provider, there has been a transfer to PetsApp for improved efficiency. As part of this transition, you would have received an email detailing the changeover from your old provider to PetsApp. This move is part of our broader effort to streamline payment processes and ensure you receive uninterrupted, high-quality service.


What This Change Means for You

  • Continued Services: The products and services you have been receiving from your vet remain unchanged. Your trusted vet continues to provide the same high-quality care and services as before.
  • New Payment Processor: PetsApp has now taken over the processing of direct debits. This means that while you will continue to receive the same services from your vet, the payments for these services will now be managed by PetsApp.
  • Use of Stripe for Secure Payments: To ensure the highest level of security and efficiency, PetsApp processes all payments through Stripe, a leading global payment platform. This change ensures that your payment details are handled with utmost security and confidentiality.

No Action Required from You

  • Review Your Statements: Please review your bank statements for charges from PetsApp. These reflect the payments for services provided by your vet.
  • Continue Receiving Services: There is no need to make any changes on your end. Continue to enjoy the services from your vet as you always have.
