Opting clients out of reminders

Opting clients out of reminders is controlled by the pet owner's communication preferences in the Practice Management System. During the database synchronisation process, we also include the communication permissions. This information is used to determine which pet owners should receive notifications from PetsApp. 

The database sync occurs twice a day to ensure that the information is always up-to-date and accurate. As a result, the list of pet owners to receive communication is generated based on their communication preferences, as recorded in the PMS.
